The team

The successful candidate will provide an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support service to the Private Wealth and Tax team and report to the PA Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will work towards the achievement of a nationally recognised Business Administration Diploma (SCQF 6) and will be supported throughout your apprentice journey by a dedicated Assessor. 

 

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site in our Glasgow Office located on West Regent Street.

 

This a two-year fixed-term Modern Apprenticeship contract.

The role

Main Duties:

  • Copying and scanning of correspondence / documents
  • Collation of documents for fee earners as enclosures for letters
  • Storing deeds and documents in Store
  • Arranging payments on behalf of fee earners, including processing of forms and telephone calls to verify bank account details as well as preparation of file notes
  • Maintaining the register of bank account details for charities
  • Hand deliveries in the local area
  • Assisting with collating information needed for compliance (AML/TRS etc)
  • Distributing mail and signed documents
  • Assisting fee earners and PAs with any other administrative tasks which they delegate

 

Candidate Profile 

Essential

  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and Outlook)                    
  • The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • A confident self-starter who can work on their own as well as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience in an office environment
