The role

To support the Financial Analysis team on primarily monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, and some ad hoc duties.


To support the team by preparing various month-end reporting, quarterly reporting, and ad hoc financial information as required. This may include working on projects throughout the year, as well as one off reporting requests. Financial reporting covers a wide range of areas, such as Divisions, Partner Groups, Locations, Partner Teams, Fee Earners, Clients, Sectors and costs.

To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.


  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and highly motivated, willing to learn and understand the reporting being undertaken so as to identify any mistakes or anomalies.
  • Practical IT skills (Excel a requirement, previous experience of some form of accounting or financial analysis software an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure - managing, and meeting, the demands from a wide range of sources under strict time pressures

This job is a fuill-time permanent post based in our Edinburgh office.
