The successful candidate will provide an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support service to the PTE division and report to the PA Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will work towards the achievement of a nationally recognised Business Administration Diploma (SCQF 6). You will be supported throughout your apprentice journey by a dedicated Assessor. |
- Copying and scanning of correspondence / documents
- Collation of documents for fee earners as enclosures for letters
- Storing deeds and documents in Store
- Arranging payments on behalf of fee earners, including processing of forms and telephone calls to verify bank account details as well as preparation of file notes
- Hand deliveries in the local area
- Assisting with collating information needed for compliance (AML/TRS etc)
- Assisting with opening files for new clients and matters
- Distributing mail and signed documents
- Assisting fee earners and PAs with any other administrative tasks which they delegate

- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience in an office environment is desirable
- The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- A confident self-starter who can work on their own as well as part of a team
