Main Duties
- Maintaining the internal communications strategy, acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders across the business.
- Producing and delivering engaging daily communications and our internal newsletters.
- Assisting in the execution of the firm’s digital communications and social media strategy alongside the Senior Digital and Marketing Executive.
- Managing content on the firm’s intranet and external website.
- Ensuring all written content, including articles and marketing material, is on brand and aligns with house style through meticulous editing and proofreading.
- Monitoring internal communications, social media engagement and media mentions and compiling comprehensive reports.
- Undertaking other duties required by the team and requested by the line manager.
Person Specification
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the confidence to suggest new ideas when appropriate.
- Methodical and organised approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to provide a high-quality service to the firm.
- Highly professional, able to work to the exacting standards required in a leading professional services environment.
- Inquisitive and analytical nature with a drive to succeed and grow within a dynamic team.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Excellent grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills. Attention to detail is essential.
- Practical and, ideally, commercial experience of using social media channels such as Linkedln, Twitter, YouTube, blogs/communities.
- Highly proficient in all MS Office packages.
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in a corporate marketing/communications function, media organisation or public relations agency.
- Project management/campaign management experience and ability to deal confidently with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience of using email marketing platforms and website CMS.
